Bavik

Bavik Super Pils.  A true Belgian Pilsner, crafted by Brewery De Brabandere in Bavikhove, Belgium. This pilsner is uncompromised, brewed as it was in 1894.
100% MALT – No dilution assures the quality of the Pilsner.  All ingredients are added during the brew process.

Chouffe Houblon

with beautiful golden orange,The chouffe houblon was brewed for the first time in 2006 ,it is an Indian Pale Ale type of beer ,with harmonious balance between a marked bitterness (three types of hops are used to make it )and a pleasant fruitiness.

Hoegaarden

Unfiltered Belgian White, flavored with coriander and orange peel, creating a sweet & sour taste.

 Affligem Blonde

Affligem Blonde, the classic clear blonde abbey ale, with a gentle roundness and 6.8% alcohol. Low on bitterness, it is eminently drinkable.

Leffe Blonde

 Leffe Blonde is a pale abbey beer, with a full, sunny, golden color. It has a smooth and full bodied taste and a rich creamy head. Like all the Leffe beers, it is a ’connoisseur’ beer that is easy to drink.”

Leffe Brune

Pale abbey beer. A traditional Belgian abbey beer with a deep brown color and a full, sweet and fruity aroma.  Develops a slight foam and a pretty fruity nose.

Chimay White

Chimay Triple, with its typical golden color, its slightly hazy appearance and its fine head is especially characterized by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer’s flavor, as sensed in the mouth, comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of Muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements the touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth.

St Feuillien

This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness. All these features make St-Feuillien Blonde an excellent and very drinkable beer.

Grimbergem Double

Double has undergone two fermentations, which gives this ale a chocolaty, toffee taste with a warming brandy-like finish.

BOTTLED BEER

Blanche de Bruxelles

Ingredients: Malted barley; wheat (40%); coriander; bitter orange peel; sugar; hops; yeast.
Blanche de Bruxelles owes its natural cloudiness to the large percentage (40 %) of wheat that goes into its composition. The natural spice aromas of coriander and bitter orange peels are added during the brewing process. The brewing method, which includes infusion, is very slow. The beer, which is not filtered, is bottled and refermented with yeast and brewing sugar. You need only take a sip of this delicious drink to appreciate the fresh and mellow flavor with its hint of orange.

Wittekerke

Charms you with its own character, smooth taste and a unique delicious aroma.  A very pleasant drink, light in alcohol with a crisp and refreshing flavor.  Wittekerke is always served cold, but in taking your time to enjoy it, you will find more flowery and spring flavors towards the end of your glass.

Duvel: Bottle conditioned

Four generations of the Moortgat family have brought together Pilsner malts, Bohemian hops, and a unique yeast strain to create this intense, aromatic and beguiling ale. This Belgian favorite is best enjoyed chilled (40 – 50 F) with discerning friends or good-looking strangers
Style: Belgian Strong Ale

Tripel Karmeliet

First brewed 1996; claimed to be based on a recipe from 1679 which used wheat, oat and barley. Tripel Karmeliet is a very refined and complex golden-to-bronze brew with a fantastic creamy head. Aroma has hints of vanilla mixed with citrus aromas. Tripel Karmeliet has not only the lightness and freshness of wheat, but also the creaminess of oats together with a spicy lemony almost quinine dryness.

Delirium Tremens

Launched on December 26th 1989 @ 9% abv. Abv reduced from 9% to 8.5% in 2003.
The particular character and the unique taste of “Delirium Tremens” result from the use of three different kinds of yeast. Its very original packing, which resembles cologne ceramics, and the colorful label contribute to its success.
In 1997, Stuart A. Kallen nominated Delirium Tremens as “best beer in the world”. A gold medal during the “world beer championships” in Chicago (1998) confirmed that worldwide recognition

Vanderghinste Oud Bruin

Originally called “Ouden Tripel”, this ancient West Flanders Brown beer has found a new élan as a regional specialty under its current name: “Bellegems bruin”. The main ingredients of our Bellegems Bruin are malted barley, wheat, hops, water, and caramelized malts. These are used to brew a bottom-fermented beer. Blending this beer with lambic beer aged in oak for 18 months results in this specific West Flanders Brown beer. Its typical flavour is characterized by a well-balanced, hardly noticeable sourness. This first flavour impression is soon followed by a second pleasant discovery: a slight bitterness followed by a hint of sweetness.

Gulden Draak Triple

Gulden Draak is a high fermentation beer with secondary fermentation. For the secondary fermentation, wine yeast is used. The white bottle, the black banner, the golden dragon and the red letters, constitute a stylish result that has no equal among the many Belgian special beers. Gulden Draak can be drunk as an aperitif or dessert, or whenever you have the time to sit back and relax. But this barley wine is also perfect with and in stews, especially the Ghent variety. It is also a plus in sauces for red meat, such as a bordelaise. It is particularly suited as a dessert beer, especially in combination with dark chocolate.

TRAPPIST BEER

Chimay Red 

Ingredients: Pilsner malt (French barley from Champagne); wheat starch or flour (10% – 15%); dextrose (5%); malt extract (0.1%); hop extract from German Hallertaur (aroma) & American Galena (bittering) hops. Yeast & liquid invert sugar added to the bottled beer.
Chimay Red is noted for its coppery color which makes it particularly attractive. Topped with a creamy head, it gives off a light, fruity apricot aroma produced by the fermentation. The taste perceived in the mouth is a balance confirming the fruity nuances noticed in the fragrance. Its taste, which imparts a silky sensation to the tongue, is made refreshing by a light touch of bitterness. To the palate, the taster perceives a pleasant astringency which complements the flavour qualities of this beer very harmoniously. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurized.

Chimay Blue 

Chimay Blue is principally distinguished by its character of a strong beer. This is a beer whose fragrance of fresh yeast with a light, flowery rosy touch is especially pleasant. Its flavor, noticed when tasting it, only accentuates the pleasant sensations perceived in the aroma , while revealing a light but pleasant touch of roasted malt. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurized.

Orval 

In contrast to all the others, the Orval Trappist brewery makes only one beer for the general public. It has an intensely aromatic and dry character. Between the first and second fermentations there is also an additional dry-hopping process. Through this the beer acquires its pronounced hoppy aroma and extra dry taste.Bottled at 5.2% abv – can go up as high as 7.2%

A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. malt.

Lindemans Framboise

A clean natural tasting brew with undertones of fresh raspberries and a wonderful aroma.

Lindemans Peche

A golden peach lambic with a sparkling appearance and fruity taste.

Lindemans Kriek

Deep red color; purplish-pink head. Bouquet of freshly harvested cherries; sparkling, smooth, fruity and refreshing, finishing semi-dry.
Style: Lambic – Fruit

Lindemans Gueuze

Glowing golden color, cidery, winey palate; reminiscent, perhaps, of bubbly dry vermouth but with a more complex and natural flavor. It’s very dry, appetizing and energizing, but some tasters do find gueuze to be demanding the first time they taste it due to the sour and acidic flavors that make it so unique. Cuvée René has been imported into the US since the early 90s, a time when the “sour beer” category didn’t exist here

Lindemans Cassis

Lindemans Cassis is a lambic made from local barley, unmalted wheat, and wild yeast. After spontaneous fermentation the lambic is aged in oak. Black currants are added creating a secondary fermentation and yielding an ale of exceptional flavor and complexity

Lindemans Pommes

Glowing, hazy gold color. Smooth, light body with the fresh flavor of real apples and a light green-apple tartness.

Kasteel rouge

You discover alcohol, cherries, other types of fruit as well as touches of chocolate and pepper. All of these make for a fresh and zesty experience which, the brewer assures us, makes you want to drink more. The more you taste this beer, the more you get past the sweetness and the higher your appreciation for its unique and complex character.
